Since I was in my adolescence, I was instructed about proper dental hygiene and the importance of healthy teeth. Others may not have been this fortunate and therefore, may not have proper hygiene. This problem happens from a series of events that, sometimes cannot be helped. Through interviewing professional’s at dental practices and researching this, I have concluded that people that do not have jobs and are self-employed tend to have poorer oral hygiene. This can and will reflect their offspring, and from my own personal experience I can say that most people wish to have nice teeth and healthy oral hygiene. Most people in America do not see the importance of proper oral hygiene, If people are not taught to take care of themselves through proper hygiene, it can affect their lives when they begin to mature.
